We offer space rental for your events, as well as birthday party packages.
Party/Event Package Pricing
Base Rental Rate
$75/hour for full use of upstairs OR downstairs; $150/hour for both spaces
Staffing: As part of the rental fee, we will provide a Blacksburg Dance Theater teacher/staff member to assist with children’s activities and help ensure smooth party flow. This staff member is not expected to do the following:
Clean up after you
Discipline your children; if party members are behaving in an unsafe, unkind, or destructive manner, the staff member will find that child’s caregiver to help manage the situation.

Costume dress-up bin is included in the rental fee
Paper goods in your choice of color (table cloths, plates, napkins, paper cups, plastic silverware), or you may bring your own themed party goods
Add-ons
$50: Blacksburg Dance Theater will provide a teacher for a 45-minute class in whatever dance style you choose.
$25: Bouncy house! We install and break down :)
$25: Personalized birthday banner with your child’s name and pictures of specific special interests. Coloring supplies will be provided for party guests to decorate the banner.
Amenities
Full kitchen available with toaster oven, refrigerator, and various serving bowls.
Party room adjacent to the kitchen with large table and seating
Some decorations available on-site (limited)
Toys available in lobby: magna-tiles, play kitchen, kinetic sand, books, stuffies
Obstacle course in studio: build your own with our dance props or have our teacher set one up for you!
Dance costume dress-up bin
Indoor bounce house (accommodates 4 children at a time). An extra fee applies.
Payment options:
A $50 refundable deposit (applied to your rental) is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time.
The remaining balance must be received by the time the party begins. We accept checks or online payments.
Check (made out to Blacksburg Dance Theater) may be deposited in the lobby drop-box.
We are also happy to invoice you for online payment - just ask!
